Description |
Men's military jacket made of olive drab wool. Jacket buttons down the center front with four die stamped military seal brass buttons. There are two patch pockets over the breast of the jacket that fasten shut with two smaller brass buttons. On each side of the front opening at the hip points is another pocket that fastens with the same small brass buttons. The jacket is long sleeved. On the left proper sleeve are three patches, one circular with a white star shape on a blue background, one on a navy felt background with three olive drab chevrons and the letter "T", and one diagonal olive drab bar on navy felt. On the right proper arm there are two patches, one identical to the second patch on the left proper arm, and one at the cuff depicting a golden wreath on a green background. The jacket has epaulettes on the shoulders that fasten with small brass buttons identical to those on the pockets. The back of the jacket has a faux belt extending around the back half of the waist with brass bars at each side, likely wear a real belt would attach to the jacket. A vent extends up the back of the jacket from the bottom hem to the waist. On the notched lapel of the jacket are two gold pins. The pin on the left proper lapel has a relief of the caduceus, a symbol associated with the medical field. On the right proper lapel is a pin with the letters "U.S." in high relief. The jacket is unlined. On the inside of the jacket at the back of the neck is written "B.0235" and on the lining of the hip pockets is written "Basconi". |
