Earthenware scratch jug with a dark brown glaze throughout. Applied in a tan slip are the words "Thixton, Millett Amberson and Co./ Wholesale/ Liquors/ Owensboro, KY." Handle is a dark brown glaze. Has a cork with illegible words, including "Ash_ Spa". Marked on bottom of jug in black sharpie are the numbers "387". |
