Description |
Textile by Zephra May-Miller primarily made up of crocheted acrylic yarn in cream, green, orange, navy, blue, yellow, purple, and pink. The textile resembles a shirt/tunic, with a wide rounded neckline and no sleeves. The front and back of the shirt/tunic are crocheted and the sides are made from a patterned cotton fabric with a floral motif in black, red, blue, yellow, orange, and green. The arm holes and back hemline are finished with cotton fabric ruffles and the front hemline is finished with fringe made from the cotton fabric and yarn. There are two crocheted pockets over the bust that mimic a breast shape. There are small areas of pearl detailing along the center front. A variety of stitches are used in the crocheted portions of the textile including single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. Textile may have other stitches not noted. |
