Oval portrait of Anne Price Meriwether 1818-1900. She is shown from the waist up and turned 1/4 to her proper left. A deep red fabric is swathed around her white bodice, sheer from the bust upward. There is an elaborate brooch at her throat. Her brown hair is parted down the middle and pulled back. |
