He is wearing a gray military uniform with a red sash across his chest, a gold belt and details, and a white collar with gold stars. His head is turned 1/4 to his right. He has a moustache and receding hair slightly curled toward his face. He is wearing a glove on his right proper hand. In his holding a pair of binoculars. He has brown eyes and is wearing a wedding band on his left proper hand. Background is an impressionistic blend of browns.Ornate gold knotted embroidery on the forearm of each sleave. He is sitting on a brown stool. Signed in the lower right corner. The interior window of the frame is gold. The middle is painted black and the outer border is gold. |
