The collection is compiled of 12 photographs that document the Munn-Meldrum families, specifically Abraham Godwin Munn (1818-1910) the grandson of Abraham Godwin Munn (1763-1835). Abraham Godwin Munn (1818-1910) was a native of New Jersey, but he was a manufacturer in Louisville, KY of agricultural implements under the name Munn & Company. In 1882, Thomas Brennan became a partner and the business was incorporated as the Brennan & Co. Southwestern Agricultural Works. Photographs include: 021PC16.01: Charlotte Rebecca Munn (1882-1964) 021PC16.02: Samuel Adams Hartwell (1818-1903) 021PC16.03: Charlotte Meldrum Hartwell (1824-1883) Charlotte and Samuel were the grandparents of the donor's grandmother, Charlotte Rebecca Munn (1882-1964). Samuel was born in Littleton, Massachusetts and moved to Louisville at some point where he worked for H. D. Newcombe & Co., wholesale sugar and molasses dealers, and later became vice president of the Jeffersonville (Indiana) Car Works. 021PC16.04: Ariana Godwin Munn (1820-1900), the second wife of Abraham Godwin Munn. 021PC16.05: Abraham Godwin Munn (1818-1909). 021PC16.06: Abe and Lidie Munn, cousins of Charlotte Rebecca Munn. 021PC16.07: A photo of William Garnett Munn Jr. (1885-1951), possibly from WWI. 021PC16.08: Charlotte Meldrum Hartwell Munn (1859-1926). 021PC16.09: Charlotte Rebecca Munn (1882-1964) as a child with her Aunt "Lydie" 021PC16.10: Copy print of a family photo from about 1898 on the steps of A.
