Small collection of snapshots related to Camp Chelan, the Young Women's Christian Associations' (YWCA) summer camp for girls and adult women. Camp Chelan was located on 38 acres near Belknap Lake just south of Sellersburg, Indiana. The camp boasted two sections - a camp for school girls and a second camp called "Camp in the Woods" for employed girls and University and Normal School students and mothers. This group of photos were collected by Helen Budde, Camp Chelan director in the 1920s. Photographs include groups of campers, the interurban station at Belknap and the camp lodge.
