The Rogers Clark Ballard Thruston Photograph collection has been divided into several series. This record is part of the Jefferson County series, which has been further subdivided to reflect specific subjects or events. This subseries of photographs was taken at Cave Hill from 1916 - 1942 and shows monuments belonging to the Clark, Thruston, Gwathmey, Bullitt, Jacob, Clay, Moore, Pearce, Croghan and Zane families. The Thruston photographs of Cave Hill run from TC-0030 to TC-0073. The graves were moved to Cave Hill from Locust Grove, Clark family burial ground in 1869. June 7, 1916 TC-0058: Graves of Francis A. Moore and his wife, Sarah Moore. The graves show the damage done to stone markers by iron dowels. Section T.
