Description |
Mammoth Cave Views, No. 11 "End of Gothic Avenue." Verso reads, The avenue terminates about half a mile beyond the chapel at "Elephants Head" and "Lover's Leap." The former is a large stalagmite shaped like the head of the animal after which it is named and the latter is a rock projecting sixteen feet over a black abyss.
